On September 20th, OMNI Aviation Training Center proudly resumed its long-awaited Wings Ceremony, a moment of great symbolism and significance in the academic and professional journey of our student pilots. On this occasion, the students who successfully completed the Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) course were awarded their well-deserved Wings.
The ceremony was honoured by the presence of more than 200 guests, amongst students, family members and distinguished figures from the aviation sector, including the President of the Portuguese Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC), Dr. Ana Vieira da Mata, whose inspiring speech deeply resonated with all attendees. Representatives from TAP Air Portugal, Portugália Airlines, EuroAtlantic Airways, the Portuguese Airline Pilots Association (APPLA) and the Independent Airline Pilots Union (SIPLA) also joined the event, further underscoring the significance of this milestone for our students.
At OATC, we believe that together we fly higher, fostering not only technical competence but also the values and professionalism that distinguish the very best in aviation.
