– Demonstrate being healthy through specific medical examinations (class 1 or class2 ) as applicable for the license.
Hence effectively the Advanced UPRT course FCL.745.A became mandatory for all pilots studying for new ATPLs and CPL qualifications at the end of last year.
If you have completed your CPL and you haven’t started your first type rating, you have to complete a standalone Advanced UPRT course under FCL.745.A. Any airline or ATO, prior to starting type rating training, will ask you to provide a certificate showing completion of an Advanced UPRT course.
The Advanced UPRT course aims to understand how to cope with the physiological and psychological aspects of dynamic upsets in aeroplanes and to develop the necessary competence and resilience to be able to apply appropriate recovery techniques during upsets.
Schedule:
- The theoretical part of the Advanced UPRT course takes place during working hours.
- Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.
- * If necessary, it will also take place on weekends from 9 am to 6 pm.
- The Flight Instruction is scheduled according to the Trainees availability.
Duration:
- This course has an estimated duration of 1 week (approximately), depending on the aptitude and availability of the Students, as well as the weather conditions.
- Note: Minimum number of students per course – six.
